{Newcastle Children Photographer} Glitter Girls

A few months ago, my sister, Dell, and I started talking about doing a “glitter shoot” with her two little girls, my nieces, Madeleine and Elyse. It sounded like so much fun, and how gorgeous it would be, so a kilo of glitter was ordered, and we picked a date. Turns out: glitter shoot – not so fun. Okay, well, it possibly would have been a little better with older children, but Elyse, who was around 18 months at the time, hated the glitter, and ended up in tears. Madeleine was also more interested in grabbing handfuls of glitter out the container rather than being photographed. So probably not something I’d do again with little kids, but I think it could be more fun with older children, say over six or seven years.

However, it is always a blessing to photograph these gorgeous girls, even if it didn’t turn out quite as we’d planned…

Also, super excited to meet and photograph my sister’s Baby No. 3 not too far away! Grandbaby Number 10 (and presumably the last) for my Mum & Dad! I can’t wait to find out if it’s a new nephew or niece.

Also, my nieces still have glitter stuck in their hair and we did this shoot at Easter…
